Wildlife Trends Journal



Scott Brown has been a regular author for the award winning Wildlife Trends Journal over ten years. Every edition has one and sometimes two of his in depth articles regarding lake management from electrofishing, water chemistry, fish biology and habitat. Besides informative, all the articles in each edition contain information on proven management techniques to incorporate on your own land and lakes to improve habitat for critters and fish.

Trees For Wildlife



We recommend to all our clients looking for additional wildlife food and habitat to contact Allen Deese at The Wildlife Group in Tuskegee, Alabama. We have frequently recommended fruit and nut tree plantings in our lake management strategy to fill open areas around waterbdies that currently do not have trees and will work in that particular location.

Article - Sweetwater Pump Aeration Information



Adding an aeration system can make deep-water lakes better throughout the water column the entire year, not just in Spring and Fall. They can also increase a waterbody's carrying capacity and reduce unwanted heavy planktonic and/or filamentous algae blooms. We have been using Sweetwater pumps and aeration Systems for almost 30 years and we feel they are the best for sub-surface aeration, with the fewest problems.
